Each day, the CME Clearing House prepares and publishes an "early" and a "final" settlement price file for the Chicago Board of Trade, based on end-of-day settlement prices set by CBOT.  This file is exactly analogous to, and is in the same format as, the early and final settlement price files published for CME products.

Since the launch of the Common Clearing Link, the settlement price files for CBOT have been published on the Internet at ftp.cme.com/pub/settle -- the same location as for CME.

Effective immediately, these CBOT settlement price files are also available on the Internet at a new location:

ftp.cme.com/pub/span/data/cbt/settle

After Friday, October 29th, settlement price files for CBOT will no longer be available at the original location.   Beginning Monday, November 1, they will be available only in the new location. 

This change regarding the location of the CBOT settlement price files is being made to avoid confusion between the two exchange's files on the Internet.  Note that settlement price files for CME are unaffected and will remain in the original location.  On the private "Firm FTP Server", both exchange's files will remain in their current location.

Please modify accordingly any processes or procedures which obtain these CBOT settlement price files from ftp.cme.com.
